Chiang Mai, we can say is a good choice, not only for relaxing,

We spent a week in Chiang Mai, North Thailand to make sure that we had enough time to enjoy the city during the day and at night time, but still having enough time to visit a few places around the city. You can read our experience in Chiang Mai here.

While staying in Chiang Mai, we decided to visit Panviman Resort Chiang Mai which is a paradise outside the city. It’s 25 kilometers outside the city and it takes 30-40 minutes to get to Panviman Resort Chiang Mai. Once you are inside you don’t feel like living this place anymore.

How to get to Panviman Resort Chiang Mai?

From the city of Chiang Mai, you can get a taxi, Uber or Grab to get to the hotel. If you are more flexible with your schedule ask Panviman Resort Chiang Mai for their free shuttle to drive you from Chiang Mai to the city center. There are two of them during the day.

First Impressions at Panviman Resort Chiang Mai

We were welcomed with a cold tea and fresh towels by their amazing staff. There is a free mini car to move around the hotel, and various areas to enjoy while you stay in the hotel.

You can feel that it’s a retreat place, away from the city. Check out our whole experience with Panviman Chiang Mai.

The Room

While in Panviman, we stayed in a villa with Jacuzzi and we have to say that the room was huge with a king sized bed, big cabinet, bathroom, fridge, desktop and a huge balcony with a jacuzzi for relaxing in our free time at Panviman Resort Chiang Mai.

To top that, the room is surrounded with views of mountains. Making you crave to watch the sunrise The wifi connection worked really well, and has allowed us to do so much online job. And guess what? The connection wasn’t only working great in the room, you can also go with your laptop to the balcony and work with an amazing view. It was quite relaxing, big and very comfortable.

The room was comfortable enough for doing our online job and get fresh air in our resting time in the balcony. It´s the perfect place to have a cup of tea or coffee with a view and at the end of the day enjoying the comfort of the jacuzzi before going to bed.

Swimming Pool

Our favorite part at Panviman Resort was the infinity pool with an open view. There are different levels and the water is a little bit colder since the weather isn’t so hot there, compared to Bangkok. We enjoyed so much in the pool while taking a few shots.

Food at Panviman Resort Chiang Mai

We loved the variety of food at breakfast. From dumplings, juices, fruits and omelettes to hot local dishes. And our favorite thing in the breakfast? Breakfast with a view! We also tried many different local choices. Thai food is so good and we tried one of the best dishes at Panviman. From the most popular dishes like Pad Thai, Tom Yam, and Satay which is very common in Indonesia and Malaysia, to tasty juices and fresh coconuts. Check the pictures below:

More facilities at Panviman Resort

We found the facilities very romantic and we decided to take shots around. There are comfortable sofas where you can have beer, cocktail or coffee, whatever is your favorite choice. And while enjoying your drinks, you can enjoy the amazing view of the Resort.

Going back to Panviman Resort Chiang Mai?
