Nassima Royal Hotel Dubai: A Review

Nassima Royal Hotel Room View

The view from the 35th floor, Nassima Royal Hotel  Photography:

Little did I know when I first decided to start my recent trip in Russia, that I will end up Dubai. Little did I know that I will get sponsored work from halfway across the part of the world. But luckily, in travel, these adventures are what make it so darn exciting. Read here Dubai sim card for tourist and how to get from Abu Dhabi airport to city center, Dubai airport to Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi airport to Dubai and Dubai airport to city center.

Nassima Royal Hotel was the last stop in my luxury trip around Dubai. In just a few days of stay in Dubai, I have gotten used to the travel luxury – hotel service, amazing crew and staff, sumptuous meals, and uber comfortable beds, PLUS the great view of Dubai. Now, don’t get me wrong. Traveling luxury doesn’t make me forget the real reason I’m traveling – to discover new culture and people around the world. This is actually what Dubai is about – tall skyscrapers, people working hard everywhere, and also people lavishly enjoying all these hard work. So I got to get acquainted, right? ha! 😉 I was even surprised at how the whole city was prepared for the months of crazy high temperature. The bus stop was air conditioned, and all metro stations were very well ventilated. All shops and establishments were of course fully air conditioned as well.

Nassima Royal Hotel is one of these skyscrapers. And since my room was in the 35th floor, I had such an amazing view of the city. It was a perfect end to an incredible trip. Read more about the last leg of my Dubai Luxury series below.

First impressions about Nassima Royal Hotel

Views at Nassima Royal Hotel

When I checked-in at Nassima Royal, I was immediately informed about where everything is  – the swimming pool, bars and restaurants. Once I had all my questions answered, I was escorted to the elevator and then to my room. Honestly, I am independent enough to find out about all these things, and definitely to visit my room by myself. But tiny details like these are what makes me more impressed about prestigious hotel brands. How they still take care of small details like making sure I get all I need and be entertained immediately when I arrive. I think that’s what separates the genuine big brands with the others. I was excited to head to my room on the 35th floor!

walking around Nassima Royal Hotel.

Just walking around and you’ll know how great the hotel is. Super clean and efficient. I was surprised to have curtain windows that automatically open when I inserted my room key. Rachel would have loved that detail! Incredible view of the city during day time and breathtaking view at night. And yes. Another detail Rachel would have enjoyed, or should I say I would have enjoyed was if I shared it to her. From my room, you can see the main road Sheikh Zayed which has 6 ways – each way plus the metro surrounding for the skyscrapers. At the bottom, you can see the highest building in the world: Burj Khalifa.

Eating and Going Around

Breakfast at Nassima Royal Hotel.

If you want to go around Nassima Royal Hotel, the metro is very accessible. A minute walking distance. The bus stop is also a very short distance from the hotel. If you want to walk around the main street, it’s full of hotels, restaurants and shops. It’s great area to walk around. You can go to Dubai Mall and watch the lights show at 6 pm, it will take you less than 15 minutes by public transportation.

Eating at Nassima Royal Hotel was great! Really great. I can say the quality of the food was equal to the luxury you experience in the hotel. I had breakfast and the quality and variety of food was amazing! Anything you can imagine for breakfast: yogurt, salads, bread, cheese, pastries. There are local dishes and Western dishes. You can even order your own breakfast and request for your food to be cooked the certain way. Like eggs for example, omelette or fried. During my stay, there were also Sushi’s for breakfast which was a great touch because I love sushis!

The breakfast was served at Celsius Restaurant which is on the first floor. In your first breakfast, the Nassima Royal staff will escort you to your table and they will show you around what’s for breakfast. Once you check everything, they will ask  if you want tea or coffee. They even placed my napkin on my lap when I sat for breakfast. I wasn’t used to that kind of treatment. So that was a new feeling for me to experience.

Food at Nassima Royal Hotel.

Another detail that I really liked while I was staying at Nassima Royal was when they were bringing chocolates in the afternoon. These were really delectable white and dark chocolates. Yum! On the 50th floor, there you will find The Bar and Lounge. Here you can have a drink or have snacks while watching the amazing views of the city. If you don´t want to go so high to have a coffee, you can go to Lobby Lounge.  It´s perfect place to have coffee or tea while waiting for someone or just to plan your day.

There are even more options to have dinner. In Tresing Restaurant, you can taste delicious Indian food. Sultan Basha is where you can enjoy Lebanese and Kazakh cuisine, you can have dinner while enjoying watching the belly dancing. And Gourmet Corner where you can try great salads and sandwiches. If you are in a hurry, no worries, you can take away 🙂

Facilities, Services and Staff at Nassima Royal Hotel

Pool at Nassima Royal Hotel.

My favorite part in Nassima Royal was the pool with the view of the city. There were pool chairs for sunbathing. There’s no need for you to bring your own towels since the staff will provide you with towels in the pool. The weather is so hot, and it’s great to have the bar close, where you can get soda, beer or snacks if you feel like having refreshments.

Spa at Nassima Royal Hotel.

For your health routines, you have the gym. You can even have your own personal trainer. Now, you can’t have any  more excuse for not doing your exercise routines while traveling. I really liked the idea of having lemon water, apple and fruits, in the gym while exercising. The gym is fully equipped so you will have everything that you need. There are locker rooms and really nice sauna, steam and jacuzzi for male and female guests. You will love the place, very colorful and relaxing.

If you want to spoil yourself with a massage, you can visit Spa Zen and try one of their treatments. There is also the Seven Men’s Salon if you want to take care of yourself, have a haircut and have more grooming, and for the ladies, the Allure Beauty Lounge, for taking care of yourself and your style during your travels. These are perfect when you need to attend formal gatherings when you are traveling, or even when just want to get a fresh look and style.

Bar at Nassima Royal Hotel.

One place that you can´t miss in the hotel is the bar on the 5oth floor where views are amazing! You can have a drink and enjoy the night views with the lights. If you travel with kids they can offer babysitting service while you are going around or shopping around Dubai and your children can enjoy with the hotel´s staff. There are shuttle services from the hotel to different points of the city and the opportunity to book tours. Just ask in the reception and their friendly staff will guide you.

The room

Room at Nassima Royal Hotel.

I stayed at Deluxe room. The room was all connected with smart technology and other ways to make life luxuriously convenient.  You can open and close curtains with the press of a button. You can watch movies and the room will get dark – perfect for a movie vibe. The king sized bed was also beyond comfortable. There were big closets and a couch area which is good for entertaining friends. I had fun having great conversation and eating out with Khym and Joshua. Also, since I work a lot,  I always appreciate a dedicated space to work. I had a table and a dedicated area for work which is perfect for concentration That might be when you’re in a super comfortable room! The wifi works well too so I had no problems connecting with Rachel for work. Something that we always prioritize whenever we are traveling.

I would say that I had the perfect view from my room. Hypnotizing views from outside my window –  the main street Sheikh Zayed Road, the metro structure, skyscrapers and the Burj Khalifa.
