Are you planning on taking a trip somewhere exotic for Spring Break? Everyone loves having fun and partying hard, but here are seven things you need to do before you actually head off on the adventure itself.
- Pack Smart
Use your brain and pack cleverly before heading out. Be efficient with space and try not to take up a heap of room with items you won’t actually be needing at any point.
There’s no need to bring with you too wide a selection of toiletries, and when it comes to clothes why not instead elect to mix and match some outfits in order to take overall levels down.

- Book Early
Places tend to get busy very early on in the hotter months, so it’d be wise to look ahead and book up your accommodation and travel before heading out.
Look around for some of the best deals as well. If you’re thinking ahead and searching to find something months in advance, there’s a good chance you’ll find a price which is bordering on ludicrous (in a good way).
- Get a Tan Before You Go
This might sound counter-productive, but it could actually be a very smart move in the long-term. Sure you can get a tan on a beach somewhere, but do you really want to expose yourself to the sun that much?
UV exposure not only increases your risk for skin cancer, but can also lead to a wrinkly look to your skin (premature ageing isn’t fun for anyone). Don’t run the risk and start your tan session before you head out.

- Don’t Neglect the Beach
Okay, we know this point sounds counter-productive when compared to the last, but it’s also important to plan some holiday time around hitting the sand.
Yes, staying out in it for too long is a massively bad thing, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t also enjoy some relaxing time on the golden shores during Spring Break.
- Eat Healthy
You certainly won’t be doing this while you’re at Spring Break, so make sure you keep as well stocked and balanced as possible before you head out.
If you’re worried about lacking energy while you’re there, try eating small meals as opposed to three large meals a day – with the short nutrient bursts serving to keep you constantly alert.

- Get Travel Insurance
It’d be wise to try and invest in some travel insurance before you make the journey to wherever it is you’re going.
While it’s unlikely you’ll get into any actual trouble, you’ll want to be covered if the worst does happen. Travel insurance is therefore a necessity.
- Don’t Plan Too Much
Most importantly of all, it’s crucial you don’t end up planning too much for yourself to cram into a relatively small space of time.
Have a rough idea of what you’re going to want to do, and then let the rest of the holiday flow naturally around spur of the moment choices.
Hopefully some of these suggestions have provided you with a great way of prepping before you head off on a Spring Break. Make sure to employ them before you head out for a wild week of fun.
